What an incredible journey these past few years have been!  There's been a very long stretch of time between recording projects, but God opened the door in 2025 for me to record new songs that I wrote between 2023 and 2025.

This third time around the music block, I had the privilege of recording at Watershed Recording Studio in Nashville, TN, with some of the best and most in-demand musicians in the music industry.  Mark Burchfield headed up the project as bass player and helped out on a few arrangements, and also engineered lead vocals. Joining in was Jason Roller, who played acoustic guitars and mandolin, Kelly Back rocked out on electric guitar, Dayne Bryant slayed it on piano, B3 and keyboards, and keeping the beat on drums was Mark Beckett, who just happens to be one of the staff drummers at the Grand Ole Opry.  Needless to say, these guys laid down some of the best tracks I've ever heard and brought my songs to life.  What a joy to be able to have them on this project.

Joanna Janet and Mark Lonsway, both incredibly talented vocalists and artists in their own rights, sang background vocals.  They amazed me as they added the finishing touches to my songs with their beautiful harmonies.  And they were such a joy to work with!!

And of course, there has to be someone to do the hard work of engineering, mixing, and mastering a music project.  Enter Jim Dineen, Kyle Hershman, and as mentioned previously, studio owner Mark Burchfield.  These guys were SO kind and encouraging, and did their best to make this ragged voice sound just a  bit better.  All told, this experience was one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I pray, above all, that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be glorified through every word sung and every note played.
